Bookies reckon snow is a cert to sweep the nation

| 13.01.2016

Bookmaker Coral believe it is a certainty that snow will hit the UK this week, making it as short as 1-33, while it’s also odds-on at 1-3 to snow in London. The firm has opened betting on the lowest temperature this week, making lows of -7C the favourite at 2-1.

With snow due to hit tomorrow, Coral is offering odds of 16-1 that this January is the coldest on record.

“If the odds are anything to go by, there will be no escaping the snow this week. We even believe that the snow will reach London before the weekend as thermometers continue to drop in the city,” said Coral’s Nicola McGeady.
