Nichols Canyon unchnaged for Champion Hurdle

Nichols Canyon remains 5-1 second favourite with Coral, behind his 4-6 favourite stablemate Faugheen, for the Champion Hurdle, following the former’s Ryanair Hurdle success at Leopardstown this afternoon.
“Nichols Canyon achieved one of the shocks of the season when beating Faugheen last month, but the latter is once again hot favourite for the Champion Hurdle after both horses won their Christmas targets in very different styles,” said Coral’s David Stevens.
The day’s two other Grade One winners were No More Heroes, 3-1 (from 4-1) favourite for the RSA Chase, and Barters Hill, 7-2 (from 7-1) with Coral for the Albert Bartlett Novices’ Hurdle, and 10-1 (from 14-1) for the Neptune Novices’.
