Mick Fitzgerald takes on Racing Simulator for Cheltenham card

The big race meeting of the weekend in The International at Cheltenham, and ex-top jockey Mick Fitzgerald has gone head-to-head with the latest computer technology to try and predict the winner of the two feature races on a cracking Saturday card.
Fitzgerald, who was leading jockey at the Cheltenham Festival in 1999 and 2000 and partnered See More To Business to victory in the 1999 Gold Cup, has visualised in his head how the Caspian in Caviar Gold Cup (13.50) and International Hurdle (15.00) will unravel and The Racing App have created a 3D simulation of it.
It takes into account pace angles, how the race will develop, and how horses will be ridden in what promises to be a tactical affair.
The Racing App, of which Coral is the official bookmaker, uses Race Modlr simulations to show you how a race is likely to unfold together with key insights about the main contenders and best bets for the race.
Can Mick Fitzgerald beat Race Modlr?
These simulations are powered by a sophisticated computer model which uses the same statistical methodologies utilised in forecasting weather and financial markets to study past performances and apply the findings to upcoming races.
As well as the 3D race simulations, there are also virtual paddock profiles detailing a horse’s strengths and weaknesses, its past performances plus a written summary of their chance of winning.
Tips and Vibes are also on offer to help you make informed selections, and the Racing App selections returned a tremendous £323 profit to a £10 stake in September on races in Britain.
The Racing App also has racecards with key information you need, including star ratings and tips, and all bets can be placed secure and directly through the app with Coral.
As well a simulation of how Fitzgerald thinks the races will be run and won, The Racing App has a computer generated outcome using it’s own formula.
