Five fantastic Serie A poaching punts for customers

The headline clash in Italy’s top-flight is Friday’s fixture between giants Lazio and Juventus, with our excellent betting preview already available to view, though there are many more magnificent matches worth a wager this weekend.

So, punters can read our five potentially profitable picks for scorers below, as we highlight the tempting televised tussles to look out for…

Inter Milan v Genoa: Icardi to open scoring

Customers should then look to Inter net threat Mauro Icardi, who both skippers and spearheads the Scudetto-chasing side as a brilliant 4/1 bet to fire in the opener, just as he did in the last encounter between these two teams.

There’s a reason Real Madrid and Arsenal are apparently pursuing this marksman, as he finished as joint Serie A top scorer last term, the youngest player to do so since the 1970s. Once again this campaign, Icardi is leading Inter’s charts, and has hit two in his last two starts versus the Griffin.

Bologna v Napoli: Higuain to hit home last

The Argentina international bagged on the last visit to Bologna but, much more crucially, has struck the final, or only, goal for the Neapolitans six times this term. That’s almost half of his Little Donkey’s haul of 14 in all competitions.

Recently described as “as decisive as Messi at Barcelona”, by World Cup winning manager Marcello Lippi, snatch odds of 3/1 for heroic Higuain to deliver the final hit again.

Fiorentina v Udinese: Nikola Kalinic to net two or more

Already twice this term, the striker has scored two or more in a match, making the marksman tempting at 4/1 to do so against guests Udinese, as Fiorentina fight to get back on top in the title race.

Sampdoria v Sassuolo: Eder anytime

Aside from the obvious benefits of backing the Brazil-born Italy international, who has struck 10 in Serie A, the Blucerchiati star has scored five in 10 career games against Sassuolo and been on the losing side just twice.

When Eder scores, Sampdoria usually win, as the formidable forward has been on target in all league wins this campaign, something that will strike fear into the guests, with five of his haul of 10 happening on home turf.

Carpi v AC Milan: Niang to notch a double or more

Many may expect that to be crafty Carlos Bacca, but the Colombian has gone off the boil of late. Instead, remember the name Mbaye Niang. The explosive French footballer exploded onto the Serie A scene back in 2012, but is still just 20, before going on to hone his craft with Montpellier and Genoa.

Now the wily winger is back, with three goals in four games to keep the likes of Keisuke Honda and Luiz Adriano sat out. Having already bagged a brace, he is exciting at 8/1 to equal or better that against cannon fodder Carpi.
