With Arsenal and Manchester City set to go head-to-head in the Premier League, it is a match that could well decide the season.

The Gunners, this season perhaps have the best chance they have ever had to win the title and are one point ahead of Man City. Both clubs have injuries to a number of players, though it is perhaps the absence of David Silva and Vincent Kompany that could severely hamstring City at the Emirates.

As such, we run through five players who will be key for Arsene Wenger’s side if they are going to take the three points with the north London outfit 11/8 with Coral to win.

Mesut Ozil

What a season this player is having. With 13 assists already, the German has been one of the most influential players for Arsenal and can wreak havoc against City’s defence, who without Kompany lack organisation.

He also dispatched in the win over Manchester United earlier in the season and is good value at 7/2 to net anytime.

Aaron Ramsey

While the Welshman has suffered with injuries throughout his career, he showed against Aston Villa just what he is capable of.

His box-to-box dynamism is what Yaya Toure, at his best offers City, though Ramsey can easily outshine the Ivorian whose form has dropped of late. He has now scored in successive Premier League games and is 11/4 to do so again anytime.

Olivier Giroud

The French forward has been crucial to Arsenal’s form recently and is starting to show signs that he can become a world class player. He now has five goals in three matches across all competitions and cause problems galore for Manuel Pellegrini’s men.

Petr Cech

It is looking like the Czech Republic international’s decision to move to the Emirates in the summer is starting to pay off. He will need to be on top of his game for Arsenal to stop Sergio Aguero and with the Gunners capable of scoring, if he keeps a clean sheet, they are likely to get the three points.

Theo Walcott

With pace to burn, the attacker can help to punish City on the counter-attack. With the visitors likely to push forward at every opportunity, Walcott will be lying in wait to receive the ball when it’s won back in Arsenal’s half and mount a surge forward.
