Bet of the day: Ronaldo to bag a brace or more once again

Coral’s bet of the day

  • Cristiano Ronaldo leads Champions League scoring with seven goals
  • The Real Madrid marksman netted twice in previous Malmo clash
  • He has helped Los Blancos already qualify for the knockout stage
  • The Portugal international has 17 goals for club and country this season

Ronaldo 11/8 to score two or more

Real Madrid go into their final Group A encounter with Malmo having already qualified for the Champions League knockout stage, and Coral’s bet of the day is the Galacticos’ main marksman Cristiano Ronaldo to score two or more once again at 11/8.

Ukraine Soccer Champions League

The clinical Los Blancos hitman has already dispatched 17 goals in all competitions for club and country so far this campaign, and such a typically rampant run is set to continue this midweek against Swedish side Malmo on Spanish soil.

At his home stomping ground, the Bernabeu, Ronaldo will aim to add to his impressive tally, and will be confident of doing so after tucking in a deadly double against Malmo in the reverse fixture in Sweden. In that important 2-0 European victory on the road, the Portugal international skipper opened proceedings before half-time, then rounded off the triumph with his second on 90 minutes.

Red-hot Ronaldo form

Expectedly, the Madrid ace enters his latest club outing on the back of ridiculously menacing form, after bagging four goals in his last three outings in both La Liga and the Champions League. That previous European brace in his last Group A appearance helped Real overcome Ukrainian competitors Shaktar Donetsk on their travels, as he rallied to top of the scoring charts.

Spain Soccer La Liga

With an impressive seven strikes so far in this season’s competition, Ronaldo is even ahead of Bayern Munich poacher Robert Lewandowski, who made a record-breaking start to the campaign.

Although, under the guidance of former Liverpool boss Rafa Benitez, Ronaldo is still proving to be the most astute attacker on the European stage, and you can back him to do what he does best again this week. At 11/8, as Coral’s bet of the day, back Ronaldo to dispatch two or more goals once again against Malmo in Real’s final Group A match-up.
