  • Romelu Lukaku in superb form
  • Everton already beaten Norwich City this term
  • Canaries enduring a bad patch

Lethal Lukaku

Punters can get superb 7/2 odds on Everton to win and Romelu Lukaku to score in this matchday special with a maximum stake of £20 for Coral’s bet of the day.

The brilliant Belgian striker has scored in six consecutive games, racking up a tally of seven goals, so should find the net against Norwich City, who are without a win in three matches. Lukaku will hoping to keep up his fine form, as the club approach what will be a hectic Christmas period in the Premier League.

His recent form has seen him become one of the most prolific strikers in Europe and can run riot around a susceptible Canaries rearguard.

Lukaku’s boss Roberto Martinez praised the striker for his consistency recently: “We’ve seen a very consistent footballer for the last 12 months. Everything that he’s doing in the final third is as good as it gets in the league.

“Only maybe Sergio Aguero had a similar impact in the last three years, and his (Lukaku’s) numbers are above big names and big performers in this league.

“From our point of view, it’s been great to see that consistency. To have 27 goals in a calendar year is an impressive stat but, as he will tell you, we want him to carry on improving, carry on wanting more, and, at the tender age of 22, that should be the drive and the focus.”

Everton on unbeaten run

Since the Toffees took on Norwich in the Capital One Cup earlier this season, when they progressed on penalties, they have gone six games unbeaten and are well fancied to emerge from East Anglia with all three points.

With the likes of Lukaku and also Ross Barkley on top form, Everton can run riot if they are in the mood and certainly shouldn’t struggle for goals.
