Ahead of England’s end of year prestige friendly with Spain in Alicante, Coral’s football experts got thinking about which goal threats are set to be on offer to punters in the match?

We got our heads together and came up with six scorer shouts for you to consider…

Paco Alcacer

A return of six international goals in just 10 caps shows how diminutive Valencia frontman Paco is living up to his potential. A scoring performance against England would only emphasise his splendid start to football at this level further. Alcacer is a superb 7/4 to net anytime for Spain.

Ross Barkley

Everton attacking midfielder Barkley has struck twice in his last four Three Lions caps, so is certainly in-form for his country. He has also seen these reflected when playing for his club. Barkley is a temptingly long 11/2 to net anytime against La Roja.

Harry Kane

With Jamie Vardy highly doubtful to be involved and skipper Wayne Rooney not starting against Spain, it’s down to Spurs striker Kane to lead the England attack. A return of three goals in six caps is sensational, and makes an enhanced matchday special of 7/2 for Kane to net again anytime (max stake £20) all the more enticing.

Alvaro Morata

While Juventus’ struggling start to yet another defence of their Serie A crown has been reflected in Morata’s personal tally of just three in 14 outings across all competitions, he scored a key goal for La Roja against Ukraine this spring.

He is at his best when running at defenders in the left channel, and could easily exploit any forward bursts from Nathaniel Clyne or Kyle Walker. Morata is a magnificent price at 11/2 to net last.

Nolito

In his previous two seasons with Celta Vigo, late-blooming winger Nolito has netted double figures for goals. Despite the Galician club signing Premier League flops Iago Aspas and John Guidetti this summer, he remains their leading marksman with seven in 11. Nolito is thus 6/4 to net a maiden international goal anytime for Spain.

Raheem Sterling

Manchester City attacker Sterling needs to add goals in big games to his locker, so what better place to start than against the reigning European champions? A tasty 10/3 price says he shall score his third international goal anytime in Alicante.
