Serie A: Juve to capitalise on Rossoneri’s rocky road record

Juventus too strong on home soil
These two Italian giants are used to being firmly in the scramble for the Scudetto, or at least being in the fight for European football, but are currently stranded firmly outside the top five league spots.
As Serie A champions, Juventus are perhaps the team with most to prove and are odds-on 4/7 favourites with Coral to stall the Rossoneri’s recent revival. Milan are unbeaten in their past five games, making Sinisa Mihajlovic’s men 13/2 for victory themselves.
Yet, a closer look at the Lombardy outfit’s form reveals the Rossoneri may be much better value for punters who favour the red and black half of Milan at 5/2 to split the spoils, as Mihajlovic has overseen just one away victory since arriving in the San Siro dugout.
This wobbly record on the road contrasts handily with the Old Lady’s excellent home stats, as Juventus have won three of their last four Serie A frays in front of home fans, and have been bested just once across all competitions in Turin this term.

“Our only focus is on the game against Milan and only after that game will we turn our attention to Wednesday’s match,” said the youngster of speculation the Turin team may be distracted by a forthcoming Champions League fixture with Manchester City.
Marksman Morata is 9/5 to notch anytime after scoring in this fixture last season, while dangerous Paulo Dybala should partner the Spaniard in the absence of injured Mario Mandzukic. The Argentina attacker can be backed at an intriguing 9/2 to net first, having been on target last time out.
Juventus may also have to do without top stopper Gianluigi Buffon in the week that he celebrated 20 years since making his debut with Parma and defender Stephan Lichsteiner, who also suffered an injury whilst on international duty. So, while not boasting a full-strength roster, former Milan boss Massimiliano Allegri is a more prudent punt at 16/5 for victory against his ex-club but with both teams to score.

Summer signing Luiz Adriano said: “This game means just as much as the derby. It’s like a final. We know we will have to work very hard to win.”
Brazilian star Adriano is a 10/3 chance to ripple the net anytime, while former Sevilla sharpshooter Carlos Bacca has proven a potent threat and is 14/5 in the same market, or 8/1 to open the scoring after grabbing five goals in his past three games.
