With the winter window fast approaching, we felt at Coral it was high time to dust off the Rumour Reel and bring punters all the latest transfer gossip ahead of January’s wheeling and dealing.

Gunners to make Rugani raid?

Arsenal, 13/8 second-favourites for the Premier League title, are reportedly keeping tabs on Juventus’ highly-rated Italy Under-21 international centre back Daniele Rugani.

Such is ex-Empoli defender Rugani’s remarkable progress that he has been named in the senior Azzurri squad before, but is yet to earn a full cap under Antonio Conte.

Rugani is reckoned to be the future of Italy’s defence, with the long-term strategy seemingly to be pairing him with AC Milan counterpart Alessio Romagnoli.

The Gunners are believed to be readying a £25m move for Rugani, who is also attracting interest from Napoli, who are coached by his old Empoli boss Maurizio Sarri.

Red Devils in pole position to snare Feghouli?

Manchester United, 15/2 to be Premier League champions this term, are lining up a free transfer for Valencia winger and Algeria international Sofiane Feghouli, should Los Che opt against offering him a new deal.

The France-born 25-year-old moved to the Mestalla in the summer of 2010, but is now out of contract this coming summer.

Inter Milan, plus Premier League pair Chelsea and Liverpool, are all understood to be looking at Feghouli on a Bosman, but reports suggest the player’s preference would be to remain with Valencia.

Red Devils boss Louis van Gaal has pledged to sign wingers to inject some more impetus and guile into is team, and the winter window is presently Los Che’s last chance to receive a fee for Feghouli.

Selected by Algeria for the last two Africa Cup of Nations tournaments and the 2014 World Cup, Feghouli is closing in on 200 games for Valencia, who may yet put a deal on the table to extend his stay.
