Jay McGuiness shortest Strictly price ever at this stage
Jay McGuiness is now the shortest price any Strictly Come Dancing contestant has ever been at this stage of the competition after being cut to 8-13 to win the show following his performance this evening. Georgia May Foote is second best in the betting at 7-1, while Peter Andre can be backed at 8-1 after wowing the judges and the audience with the opening dance of the night.
In the next elimination betting, Carol Kirkwood is odds-on at 4-7 to depart after scoring the lowest total of the evening, Jamelia is 2-1 to leave next and Jeremy Vine can be backed at 9-1.
“This is the shortest price any Strictly contestant has ever been at this stage of the competition to win the Glitter ball trophy. Despite being long odds-on now, punters are still happy to part with their cash on the pop star going all the way on the back of his Argentine tango,” said Coral’s John Hill.
“Carol really struggled tonight and after picking up the lowest total of the 10 contestants, we think she will be under big pressure to stay in the competition,” added Hill.
