Bathtubs and Bats to share spoils

As both Sevilla and Valencia prepare for their Sunday evening La Liga battle, anything can happen really as the two sides have claimed five victories apiece against the other in their last 12 meetings.

Therefore, a draw, as was the result in this fixture last season, can be backed at a tasty 14/5 price with Coral, while another 1-1 scoreline is an even more enticing 13/2.

Sevilla, though, go into this clash as the odds-on 4/5 favourites due to being hosts, which is justified given that the home side out of the two teams has not lost in the last eight head-to-heads.

Neither side’s domestic form has been particularly encouraging, while they have not impressed in their respective Champions League groups this season. The Bats (16/5 match chances) are down in seventh in La Liga, while the Bathtubs are four points behind in 11th.

In-form Alcacer the key for Valencia

Valencia have a chance to break into the top four this weekend if other results go their way, and the likes of Paco Alcacer and Daniel Parejo will likely be key to their attempt.

Young Spain striker Alcacer (7/4 to net anytime) has six league goals this season already, while former QPR loanee Parejo (7/2), who bagged a brace against Sevilla last time out, has four.

For the hosts, meanwhile, they have an array of attacking talent to call upon. Frenchman Kevin Gameiro has top scored for them so far this season with five, and so is the even-money favourite in the anytime market.

Other forwards such as Ciro Immobile, Fernando Llorente (both 6/5) and Evgen Konoplyanka (7/4) could also feature. Former Premier League duo Jose Antonio Reyes (9/4) and Steven N’Zonzi (4/1) are also ones to look out for.

Coral’s top tip: With neither side being in great form and both enjoying wins against the other in recent meetings, back a draw at 14/5.
