Moura move to Man Utd on?

Manchester United, 4/1 with Coral to win the Premier League, are reportedly keen to bring PSG’s Lucas Moura to Old Trafford.

Having almost signed the Brazilian four years ago, a deal could be resurrected with Louis van Gaal on the lookout for a pacey wideman.

Reports in France say that Man Utd and a host of other Premier League clubs such as Chelsea and Manchester City are monitoring the situation.

Moura actually passed a medical with United before PSG swooped, so the club should be confident that this area of the deal process should go smoothly and the 23-year-old would link up with fellow new Old Trafford signings Anthony Martial and Memphis Depay in attack, should he join, in what would be an intriguing prospect.

Teixeira tempting Blues

From one Brazilian to another, and Shakhtar Donetsk attacking midfielder Alex Teixeira is said to be in advanced talks with Chelsea to sign for the Premier League champions.

It is understood that the Blues are set to make a £30m bid in January in an attempt to secure his signature and kickstart their season, with Jose Mourinho’s side lacking spark this campaign.

The club have said to have earmarked a number of players in January, including West Bromwich Albion attacker Saido Berahino and Atletico Madrid forward Antoine Griezmann, though the latter is unlikely to be available until the summer.

Another bid for Everton centre back John Stones could also be on the cards, though PSG’s Marquinhos may be a more achievable acquisition.

Villa’s winter window to have shades of Gray?

Aston Villa, meanwhile, are believed to be monitoring Burnley’s £15m rated striker Andre Gray, who began the campaign at Brentford and has since scored 11 goals.

However, under Fifa ruling, a player cannot play for more than two clubs in one season, though he can be registered for three. This puts a move for him in January under scrutiny and a summer move may be more likely, with Everton and West Ham also keeping tabs on the 24-year-old.
