To sweep away those Monday blues, Coral hope to bring you plenty of good news on the football gossip front, with a number of players being linked to the Premier League.

Bale bid boost for United

Following reports that Gareth Bale’s future at Real Madrid is in doubt in the fallout from Los Blancos’ Barcelona battering in El Clasico, Manchester United, 4/1 with Coral to win the Premier League, are understood to be prepping a bid for the 26-year-old.

Louis van Gaal’s side have lacked goals this season and, after Bale’s 56 strikes for Tottenham and 41 for Real Madrid, there is enough evidence to suggest that he can provide what is missing for the side.

There is also mutiny at Madrid, with Rafael Benitez, rumoured to have lost the dressing room. Cristiano Ronaldo has also been linked with a move back to Old Trafford, though PSG are said to have shown interest as well.

Klopp big on Biglia

New Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp could well make his first signings in the January transfer window and is reportedly set to look to Serie A.

Lazio midfield enforcer Lucas Biglia is said to be on the Reds’ radar, though they could also face competition from fierce rivals United. At 29, the Argentine would provide a considerable amount of steel and experience and could be a good foil for either Emre Can or Jordan Henderson.

Mane mania

Southampton winger Sadio Mane, could yet again be the subject of heavy interest in the winter window. United, who pursued him in the summer, are expected to follow up their interest once again, while Chelsea, who clearly need reinforcements, are also understood to be chasing him.

Saints, however, are determined to keep one of their star players and are said to be keen on offering him a new contract.
