The weekend domestic fixtures are over, and that means the Champions League returns to our screens once more on Tuesday and Wednesday.
So, in light of Europe’s elite club competition coming up, Coral find four top tips – two from each day – to punters take for a chance to win big…
Tuesday fixtures
Real Madrid v PSG
This reverse fixture last time out promised so much with some of the biggest names in the world from both clubs going head-to-head, but unfortunately for viewers it ended as a 0-0 draw.
The pressure will be off the two teams on this occasion, being four points clear at the top of Group A, so will have the freedom to produce attacking displays.
One man, unsurprisingly, who is in top form once more is Los Blancos’ superstar Cristiano Ronaldo. The former Manchester United forward has netted in each of his last three La Liga games, while has five in three in the Champions League this campaign, so back him at 3/1 to bag a brace or better at the Bernabeu.
Sevilla v Man City
Spanish team Sevilla were so unlucky last time out at the Etihad, as they lost 2-1 despite taking an early lead after conceding an own goal and then late winner by Kevin De Bruyne.
Europa League champions Sevilla will be determined to make amends, and need to win if they are to have any chance of reaching the knockout rounds.
The Bathtubs can take confidence from their recent form in the league, winning three of their last five – including a 2-1 triumph over Barcelona, and so are terrific 7/1 shouts for victory by that same scoreline over City, who don’t do well in Europe.
Wednesday fixtures
Roma v Bayer Leverkusen
Fans and viewers were given a treat when these two recently played in Germany, as they battled out to a 4-4 thriller.
While that amount of goals again is a tall ask, a draw is certainly on the cards. They shared the spoils in their previous meeting just over a decade ago too, so are brilliantly priced at 5/2 to do so once more.
Bayern Munich v Arsenal
We finish off with perhaps the clash of the round, and it is all set up for an intriguing occasion after the Gunners shocked Bayern to get them right back in the mix to qualify.
Olivier Giroud broke the deadlock against the Bundesliga champion at the Emirates, and did so too at the Allianz Arena back in 2013 in a 2-0 away win as well as mostly recently against Swansea City at the weekend. Therefore, back the Frenchman at 8/1 to strike first again.
