A win for Man Utd will see them through

Somehow, after scraping just two wins from their opening four Champions League Group B games, Manchester United sit top by a point, and a win over second-placed PSV at home will secure their spot in the last 16.

It certainly has been a lucky season for Coral’s odds-on 1/2 match favourites the Red Devils to date, as they have by no means played their best football, and they are even way up in second, behind only shock leaders Leicester City in the Premier League.

With the probable return of forwards Wayne Rooney and Anthony Martial to their squad, after they missed out on the club’s late 2-1 win at Watford at the weekend. They are both priced at 6/5 to net anytime.

Depay finally back in form

However, it will be a special occasion for back-in-form Memphis Depay, who seemed to thrive at the Hornets playing as a striker, and it remains to be seen if he’ll get the nod up top again against his former side.

United lost 2-1 in the away fixture in the Netherlands, in a controversial clash that saw left back Luke Shaw suffer a horrific broken leg, but Memphis managed to get the opening goal. The Dutchman is 5/4 in the anytime market, and a more enticing 5/1 to break the deadlock once more.

Memphis is also the subject of a Coral match special, with great odds of 5/2 available for him to score and Man Utd win (max stake £20).

Don’t count PSV out at Old Trafford

However, PSV will not give up without a fight in this battle, and a win for them (at 6/1) will put them in great stead in reaching the knockout rounds, with Wolfsburg and CSKA Moscow duelling in Russia at the same time.

Even a draw (at 10/3) would be a decent result for the visitors, and they’ll be hoping the likes of Luciano Narsingh (7/2 to strike anytime), who netted against Man Utd last time out, and Luuk de Jong (10/3) can find the target.

Hector Moreno, also a scorer against the Red Devils and who was involved in the Shaw challenge, is a 16/1 chance, but fellow Mexican Andres Guardado is a more-fancied shout at 9/1.

Another tasty match special price of 5/2 is available for Man Utd to win and both teams net (also max stake £20).
