With the Champions League returning this week, Coral’s bet of the day comes from a potentially enthralling fixture between Barcelona and Roma, where the Spanish hosts’ in-form forward Luis Suarez is a tasty 3/1 to bag a brace or more at the Nou Camp in their latest European encounter.

The Uruguay international hitman has been in sensational form so far this campaign, dispatching an impressive 15 times throughout all competitions for the Catalan club, carrying on where he left off in his maiden term under Luis Enrique, having helped secure a historic treble triumph.

Suarez steps up in Messi absence

In Suarez’s previous five outings in both La Liga and Europe’s elite club competition, the clinical South American has incredibly struck eight goals, including an emphatic hat-trick over Eibar and a deadly double against Los Blancos, proving Roma have plenty to be concerned about in this Champions League clash.

It seems Barca’s ferocious finisher truly enjoys featuring on home soil, another worry for their travelling Serie A opposition, with 10 of his 15 strikes so far this term having been delivered on the Nou Camp stage, ahead of another home outing against Roma.

Alongside fellow South American attacker Neymar, Barca’s other dependable superstar, Suarez has thrived up front, with the prolific pair still managing to cause constant havoc among defences across Spain and the rest of Europe despite the mercurial Lionel Messi’s absence through injury.

Roma rearguard unsteady

Coming into his latest Nou Camp appearance on the back of a decisive double over bitter rivals Real, Suarez is sure to be firing on all cylinders once again, with Roma set to feel the full force of another potential world-class performance, and the visitors will need to improve their defensive stature swiftly in order to make an impact.

Suarez will be licking his lips at his next match-up against the Giallorossi, with the travelling Italian outfit having conceded more goals than any other side among the top five Serie A teams, and they have managed to win just two of their last seven away outings in all competitions, losing three as well as seeing a daunting 15 strikes beat them in those recent clashes.
