Coral’s latest bet of the day comes in the form of Middlesbrough overcoming their Championship rivals QPR at the Riverside Stadium with both teams getting on the scoresheet in the Northeast.

Aitor Karanka’s Boro enter their latest home encounter in the better form, having climbed to fourth spot of the second tier table after a solid streak on home turf so far.

The hosts have enjoyed a successful six domestic game unbeaten run at the Riverside in recent weeks, which also includes an impressive five victories, while their opponents come into the clash on the back of less encouraging form.

Warnock in charge

QPR, now under the management of Neil Warnock, have endured a hapless streak which has seen them secure just a single win in their previous six league outings.

Karanka’s men have proved they have the necessary strikeforce to topple the R’s on home turf, but a recent blip against Hull City also gives hope to their travelling London opposition in attack.

Boro haplessly conceded three goals in a sickening defeat to the Tigers in their previous match-up, with such a poor defensive performance set to give the likes of QPR frontman Charlie Austin plenty of food for thought.

Weakened Boro backline

As well as their recent defensive faltering, Boro will be without centre back Fernando Amorebieta, after he injured himself during that loss to current Championship leaders Hull, weakening the rearguard further.

England international call-up Austin will be a threat going forward for the visitors, while fellow attacker Jay Emmanuel-Thomas can also provide an astute attacking danger towards Boro.

Although, despite a possible weakened defensive line, Middlesbrough should possess enough talent throughout their ranks to see out a sixth victory in seven home league games. So, make sure to back the Northeast outfit to win and both teams to score in this intriguing match-up which kicks-off an exciting weekend of Championship action.
