  • Vibe scored on his last visit to north west
  • Player causes teams trouble in closing stages
  • Forward looks good for Brentford since signing

Vibe very good last scorer value

With Brentford set to visit Bolton in the Championship as they seek to catch Cardiff City, Reading and Sheffield Wednesday, Coral recommend forward Lasse Vibe to score last with 5/1 odds.

On his last visit to the north west, the 28-year-old scored against Blackburn Rovers, so will be confident of netting once more in familiar territory.

Against Charlton recently, Vibe added the last goal as the Bees beat the south London side in a comprehensive 3-0 victory, with the player a constant threat in the latter stages, chasing down loose balls, harrying opponents and trying to carve openings.

He certainly seems the type of player who can be relied on in the closing stages of games, when he utilises his boundless energy to tire weary opponents who are susceptible to losing concentration.

Good vibes and high spirits under Carsley

The Denmark international is enjoying life at Brentford and admits that life under ex-Everton player Lee Carsley is good.

“Things are looking up,” Vibe said recently.

“It’s nicer to be there every day now and spirits are good. “Everybody is working for the same goal and everyone knows what everyone is doing. It’s been really good since the last international break,” he continued.

“It was nice to be in the stadium for the whole game. They were singing all game. They liked it as well so it’s all good.”

Vibe arrived with good recommendations

Former Brentford boss Marinus Dijkhuizen signed the attacker in the summer and he has hit the ground running, scoring five goals so far this season.

“I am very happy that we have been able to sign two attackers. We were short of numbers in that position,” Dijkhuizen said at the time.

“Lasse Vibe brings a lot of experience to our young squad. He can play in all positions in the front line and scored a lot of goals last season.

“I’m excited by the possibility to work with Lasse in training and look forward to seeing him in our team in the coming season.”
