West Bromwich Albion v Arsenal

Arsenal with summit in sight

Arsene Wenger’s side can really put the pressure on Manchester City prior to their match with Liverpool, if they beat West Brom next time out as the Premier League returns following the international break.

The Gunners are heavily odds-on at 8/15 with Coral to record a victory that would for at least three hours take them clear at the top of the English top-flight. Despite a 1-1 draw last time out in the north London derby, Arsenal should have the beating of Tony Pulis’ side having completed the double over the West Midlands outfit last season.

While the currently injured Danny Welbeck scored the only goal in this particular fixture, Arsenal still have a number of threats who can help to make the difference. Olivier Giroud and Joel Campbell both dispatched in the 3-0 away win over Swansea City at the Liberty Stadium, and the duo are 4/1 and 6/1 respectively to net the opening goal.

However, Alexis Sanchez will be hoping to get back into scoring contention and the Chilean is 9/2 to break the deadlock. It is his on-field relationship with the irrepressible Mesut Ozil, though, that has really caught the eye this term and the German playmaker is 5/4 to strike anytime.

Baggies two without win

With no victory in their last two Premier League matches, their could be a Baggies backlash against the Gunners. Saido Berahino has been linked with a move away again recently, and may look to impress suitors with a dominant display here.

The 22-year-old is well priced at 15/8 to score anytime and could be a good bet if punters are looking for value here. Strike partner Salamon Rondon has also been fairly prolific recently, with two goals in his last three games and is a terrific 2/1 in the same market.

Magpies to swoop on Foxes

Newcastle are 7/4 to beat Leicester and recorded a 1-0 win in this fixture last season, with Gabriel Obertan scoring the only goal. The Frenchman is 5/1 to net anytime, while Ayoze Perez, who dispatched the only goal in the win against Bournemouth last time out could be better value at 2/1 in the same market.

Meanwhile, Georginio Wijnaldum recently hit four at home in the 6-2 thrashing of Norwich City and his odds of 9/1 to score two or more could be worth considering. Leicester have conceded in every match apart from one this term and do look susceptible at the back.

Leicester striker Jamie Vardy will likely face a late fitness test, with the 28-year-old understood to be struggling with an injury, though if fit, is offered at 4/1 to break the deadlock. However the Foxes have shown this term that they have threats elsewhere, with Riyad Mahrez and Nathan Dyer both capable of finding the net and they carry respective 15/8 and 10/3 anytime odds.
