Chelsea v Norwich – home win
Despite making a dreadful start to the defence of their Premier League crown, Chelsea should be able to bounce back against Norwich and get their campaign back on track after the international break.
Everton v Aston Villa – home win
The Toffees have won three of the last four meetings with Villa and, with home advantage on their returning domestic outing, expect Roberto Martinez’s men to succeed again.
Newcastle v Leicester – draw
Newcastle’s season has been quite the contrast to that of Leicester, languishing towards the bottom places, but they can hold out defiantly for at least a point this weekend.
Southampton v Stoke – home win
The Saints have two of the last three encounters with Stoke and possess enough firepower to get the job done once again this time out on home soil.
Swansea City v Bournemouth – away win
Garry Monk has come under serious pressure of late, and Bournemouth may spring a surprise to further Swansea’s early season misery.
West Brom v Arsenal – away win
Arsenal will look to continue their recent form and make sure they are in with a chance of claiming the title this term, starting with a victory here at The Hawthorns against West Brom.
Real Madrid v Barcelona – draw
Many of the big guns from both sides are missing from this El Clasico clash, but there is still plenty of attacking threat on show in what could be another thriller in Madrid.
Manchester City v Liverpool – away win
Jurgen Klopp faces another stern test with his Liverpool outfit, though his men could overcome Man City with players coming back injury, in what will be a tough match-up for former Reds star Raheem Sterling.
Juventus v AC Milan – draw
Both sides have somewhat struggled so far this term, more surprisingly Juventus, as they sit outside Champions League places. Expect a narrow encounter in Turin with a share of spoils the outcome.
Udinese v Sampdoria – away win
Vincenzo Montella is back at old club Samp as their new head coach, and ‘the Little Aeroplane’ should get a response from the visiting team here.
Hamilton v Aberdeen – away win
Derek McInnes’ Dons have won the last four head-to-heads to nil, so this should be an away banker.
Burnley v Brighton – draw
These two high-fliers are next to one another in the table, and Seagulls boss Chris Hughton will certainly be content to take a point off Sean Dyche in what is a lengthy trip to Turf Moor.
Tottenham v West Ham – draw
A repeat of February’s draw between these London rivals looks on the card with both sides in decent form.
Real Betis v Atletico Madrid – away win
When Betis were last in La Liga, Atleti battered them 7-0 across two meetings, and there’s little to suggest anything other than a straightforward victory for the visitors again here.
Crystal Palace v Sunderland – home win
Sam Allardyce’s side should struggle at Selhurst Park, so a home win looks assured for Alan Pardew’s high-flying Eagles.
