Treve still odds-on for Arc after draw

Treve remains 10-11 favourite with Coral for Sunday’s Qatar Prix De L’Arc De Triomphe, after the dual winner was allocated stall eight for her historic hat-trick bid.  4-1 second favourite Golden Horn has been drawn in 14, while New Bay, currently 9-2, will come out of five.

“Treve has been odds-on for the Arc hat-trick since her Vermeille win, and we see no reason for that to change following the draw that will see her race from stall eight on Sunday.  By contrast, Golden Horn backers – of which there have been plenty this week – will be less pleased to see the Derby winner handed a high draw,” said Coral’s David Stevens.

In other Longchamp races, Mecca’s Angel has been eased to 7-2 (from 9-4) favourite for the Qatar Prix De L’Abbaye after the Nunthorpe winner was drawn 19 of 19 in the five furlong contest, while Limato is 6-4 favourite for the Qatar Prix De La Foret.

“A combination of drying ground and the highest possible draw has seen Mecca’s Angel take a walk in the market, with the fast ground loving Sole Power now 6-1 second favourite for a first win in the race,” said Coral’s David Stevens.
