SPORTSBOOK ODDS

With Jurgen Klopp set to make his Premier League bow as his new club Liverpool take on Tottenham, Coral have several treats for punters to peruse in the form of a number of Klopp specials. Read on and see which one takes your fancy!

To win one major trophy in 2015/16: 7/2
While the Reds limped past Carlisle in the Capital One Cup, Klopp will be sure to be taking every competition seriously and will have identified this trophy as something the Reds should be realistically aiming for.

It is all to play for in the FA Cup, while Klopp’s knowledge of Europe may serve Liverpool well in the Europa League. A Premier League title win seems highly unlikely, this season at least, though, overall a trophy this term isn’t beyond them.

To win the Premier League With Liverpool by 2019/20: 8/1
This should be ample enough time to create a squad capable of top flight glory, playing the way he wants them to. If Klopp unearths another world class act like he did at Borussia Dortmund with Robert Lewandowski, there is no reason why the Reds can’t conquer the Premier League; it took him until his third season with his ex-employers before winning consecutive Bundesliga titles, overthrowing Bayern Munich.

To win his first three Premier League games in charge: 20/1
A tough ask, though it can be done. Liverpool travel to Tottenham for Klopp’s first game in charge, though the Reds will take heart from the fact that they won 3-0 at White Hart Lane last season.

Britain Soccer Europa League

Following this, Southampton head to Anfield in a fixture that the Reds also won last campaign as they recorded a 2-1 win.

A truly mouth-watering fixture is next up when Liverpool visit Stamford Bridge, a match the Klopp will relish against Jose Mourinho. If the Reds go into this match with some momentum, there is no reason why they cannot come away with three points, so these odds on three straight wins could well be terrific value!

To be unbeaten in Premier League by Christmas: 25/1
Should this happen, they could easily be top and then anything could happen. What a turnaround this would be! If reports are to be believed the players on international duty with England couldn’t wait to get back to Liverpool to train under Klopp, suggesting they are more than ready to adapt to his style.

It could mean firstly, going back to basics though and this tactic more often than not has got results, though there seems to be all of a sudden a feel good factor among the Reds playing staff; something that can easily translate into positive results.

To win two major trophies in 2015/16: 40/1
Definitely possible. If they get favourable draws and a little bit of luck in the Capital One Cup and Klopp applies his knowledge of continental football in the Europa League which the Reds are 16/1 current third-favourites with Coral to win, then this could be a delightful double and set Liverpool up to push on challenge next season.
