Time Test and Hit It A Bomb dealt bad Breeders Cup draws
Time Test was eased to 9/2 from 7/2 for the Breeders’ Cup Mile by Coral this afternoon after being drawn in stall 12 of 12 runners. The Andre Fabre trained pair, Make Believe and Esoterique, are now 10/3 joint favourites for the race after receiving better draws in 3 and 9 respectively.
Aidan O’Brien’s Hit It A Bomb, ridden like Time Test by Ryan Moore, also drew the outside post 14 in the Breeders’ Cup Juvenile Turf and has been eased to 4/1 from 3/1 by Coral though he remains favourite for the race. Cymric also received a poor draw in 13 prompting Coral to push his odds out to 9-2 from 4-1.
Waterloo Bridge has been declared for the Breeders Cup Juvenile by Aidan O’Brien but is 25/1 after also drawing the outside post 14.
Golden Horn drew the inside post in the Breeders’ Cup Turf but remains 4/7 for the race while Legatissimo is an 11-10 chance from evens for the Breeders Cup Filly & Mare Turf with Coral.
“Two of Ryan Moore’s best chances at the Breeders Cup, Time Test and Hit It A Bomb, have been dealt a tough hand at this afternoon’s draw ceremony and we had little hesitation in easing them both for their respective races,” said Simon Clare, Coral Spokesman.
“John Gosden’s two pronged Breeders Cup challenge hasn’t been done any favours either with Cymric drawn 13 in the Juvenile Turf and Golden Horn drawn on the inside in the Breeders’ Cup Turf. However whilst Cymric’s chances of victory must surely have been dealt a blow, Golden Horn looks so superior to the opposition we have left his odds unchanged at 4/7,” added Clare.
