Spectre odds-on to break British Box Office record

SPORTSBOOK ODDS

Following the release of the new James Bond film Spectre last night, leading bookmaker Coral is offering odds of just 1-3 that it breaks the British Box Office record, currently held by Skyfall.

Coral is also betting on who will feature as the next James Bond once Daniel Craig calls an end to his time as 007.

“We’re expecting Spectre to be the highest grossing film ever in the UK, beating the previous best set by Skyfall and that is reflected in the betting as it is odds-on to break the record,” said Coral’s John Hill.

“It is unclear at this stage whether Daniel Craig is going to continue as 007 but if he does call it a day, Damien Lewis is the warm favourite to replace him as the next James Bond,” added Hill.
