Pool B remains basically the only group where the outcome of which team will qualify is still unknown, however South Africa can change that by getting a bonus point win against the nearly men of this Rugby World Cup so far, USA.

Whereas, Namibia’s match with Georgia is a battle of pride with neither nation wanting to pick up their Pool C’s wooden spoon tag.

South Africa v USA

Rugby Union - Rugby World Cup 2015 - Pool B - Scotland v United States - Elland Road

After pushing Samoa and Scotland to the limit without success in their last two encounters, USA have shown the rugby world that they belong on this stage of the sport.

However, unsurprisingly the Eagles have never beaten a Southern Hemisphere team; their best being a 23-point deficit back in 2003. And with USA coach Mike Tolkin making 12 changes to the team that led Scotland 13-6 at half-time, it seems they have their sights solely on the Japan game on October 11th.

If you would still like to take a punt on USA, and a punt indeed it is, they’re 25/1 to win with Coral.

South Africa’s second coming after that shock defeat to Japan has shown the other nations fighting for this World Cup not to underestimate them.

With two highly impressive wins over Scotland and Samoa coming after the defeat to the Brave Blossoms, racking up an 80-22 aggregate, you can’t look too far past the table-toppers in this one and that is why they are overwhelming odds-on favourites at 1/500.

The Springboks (6/1 tournament chances) are a much more enticing 5/2 price to beat the Americans by a 31-40 points margin at London’s Olympic Stadium, meanwhile.

Namibia v Georgia

Although both teams are unable to qualify for the latter stages of the Rugby World Cup, there are still huge incentives for both to win.

Neither Namibia nor Georgia want to head back home rock bottom of Pool C and, with 3rd place in the groups automatically qualifying for the 2019 finals in Japan, you can expect both countries to play with immense passion and pride, with the scoreline likely to be close. Odds of 6/1 say the Georgians will win by a points margin of 6-10.

The main battle rugby fans will be wanting to see is between opposing captains Mamuka Gorgodze of Georgia and Namibia’s Jacques Burger. Both titans of club rugby, for Toulon and Saracens respectively, and by far the best players for their countries, the prospect of this clash is mouth-watering.

However, with Namibia (5/1 for victory) yet to beat the Eastern Europeans in three meetings and with the latter’s hugely impressive win over current third-placed Tonga, Georgia are odds-on favourites at 2/11.

Coral’s top tip: Although Georgia are clear match favourites, it wouldn’t be a surprise if only a few points separate them from Namibia at the final whistle. The Eastern Europeans are 6/1 for a 6-10 winning margin.
