Crystal Palace v West Ham United

Premier League
Saturday, October 17th
Kick-off: 15:00 BST
Selhurst Park, London

Alan Pardew’s overachieving Palace welcome fellow surprise package West Ham with a top four spot at stake.

Capital clubs the Eagles and Hammers clash having both made superb starts to the season and, with just one Premier League point currently between them, punters may want to plump for a draw at 13/5 from Coral.

Although, last term the spoils from their two tussles were taken by both travelling teams, so West Ham can be backed at a fantastic 3/1 for a repeat win on the road, with odds of 33/1 for another 3-1 result in their favour.

Slaven Bilic’s boys are particularly tempting to sink Palace, as the Hammers have tended to save their best performances for away games, losing just once in the league as visitors.

Prolific Payet to pounce again?

Britain Soccer Premier League

Of course, new playmaker Dimitri Payet has been crucial to boss Bilic’s brilliant start, proving potent with four goals and three assists in only eight league outings. So, having surprisingly missed out on a call-up to the France squad, Payet should be fresh for this scuffle and is worth a punt at 11/4 in the anytime market.

The Hammers also have a proven hitman in dangerous Diafra Sakho, and the Senegal sharpshooter is excellent value at 13/2 to open proceedings.

As for Palace (19/20 match favourites), midfield conductor Yohan Cabaye is also an excellent 11/4 shout to score anytime, having dispatched two spot-kicks in as many of his past outings. Also an intriguing Eagles bet is Yannick Bolasie, with the influential attacker available at 2/1 in the same market.

Southampton v Leicester City

Premier League
Saturday, October 17th
Kick-off: 15:00 BST
St Mary’s, Southampton

Ronald Koeman’s resurgent Saints can scupper Foxes form, as Claudio Ranieri takes his Midlands men to the south coast.

This tussle has the potential to be one of the tastiest of the weekend, though Southampton (3/4 favourites) should hold the edge as hosts. Koeman’s crew have a terrific tally of 12 from their past two games, and ruthlessly tore through Chelsea last time out.

Formidable forwards Graziano Pelle and Sadio Mane have both been in great from, so are fantastic chances at 4/1 and 5/1 to net first and last respectively.

Leicester leaking goals

The Foxes are also on a fine run, but have shown weaknesses, as Ranieri’s rearguard has conceded 6 goals in their previous two matches.

Majestic Riyad Mahrez is Leicester’s most lethal predator, and is 11/4 to score anytime after bagging a brace against Saints last season, while recent England recruit Jamie Vardy is 6/4 to strike anytime. Though, the most enticing price from this duel is Southampton at 12/5 to win with both bold teams to score.
