Jose Mourinho needs players to respond
Following their shock home 3-1 defeat to Southampton last time out, Aston Villa could be the team which suffers Chelsea’s wrath, with the Blues odds-on at 1/3 with Coral to take all three points.
This fixture last season was comprehensive as the west London outfit secured a straightforward 3-0 victory, with Diego Costa, Oscar and Willian getting on the scoresheet.
With odds of 7/2 to break the deadlock, the former is good value to hit the back of the net against a side who have lost their last four Premier League games, and whose defence has been leaking goals.
Wily Willian well priced for third Premier League goal in as many matches
With a number of Mourinho’s stars misfiring this term so far, diminutive Brazilian attacker Willian has shouldered some of the goal-scoring responsibility recently, having dispatched against Southampton and Newcastle United, while also netting in the Champions League against FC Porto.
His odds of 11/4 anytime therefore, are well worth considering, especially with the 27-year-old bagging a brace as Brazil disposed of Venezuela during international duty.
Tim Sherwood under pressure for points
Villa’s manager, who is 11/10 favourite with Coral to be the next Premier League manager to leave their post, needs points fast, after perhaps not bringing in enough experience in the summer transfer window; a decision which has left the West Midlands outfit languishing in the relegation zone, four points adrift of safety.
Their only win came on the opening day of the campaign as Sherwood’s side beat Bournemouth 1-0 with new boy Rudy Gestede hitting the solitary strike. The former Blackburn man has three Premier League goals this term and is 9/4 in the anytime market.
It is ex-Chelsea boy Scott Sinclair who could be the most revved up for this match however and Villa’s attacker is their highest scorer this term, with five goals in all competitions. At 11/4 to strike anytime, this is a bet that is well worth considering.

Bony starts with Aguero injured
Manuel Pellegrini will be forced once more to start with Wilfried Bony in attack, after star man Sergio Aguero sustained a highly frustrating injury while on international duty with Argentina.
While this may present a headache for many fantasy football managers, Bournemouth manager Eddie Howe can take a small degree of comfort from this news, with the Cherries a staggering 9/1 to come away from the Etihad with all three points.
Bony is 3/1 to score two or more goals against a side who have recorded just two wins in the Premier League so far this season.
Who will replace Wilson for Bournemouth?
Cherries boss Howe, will be more than relieved to have brought in experienced campaigner Glen Murray on the last day of the transfer window, who is 4/1 to net in the anytime market and it could well be him who acts as the direct replacement for the injured Wilson.
It could well be damage limitation for the visitors, with high-flying City scoring for fun at the moment, though if the likes of Josh King (11/2 anytime) can break effectively on the counterattack, it could provide Bournemouth with an opportunity to create chances.
City goal-glut can pop Cherries chances
Pellegrini’s side have had a medley of scorers this season and each could be in with a chance against last season’s Championship winners. New boy Kevin De Bruyne hit the ground running and has three Premier League goals so far, while he also scored both games while on international duty with Belgium.
He is 5/1 to net two or more against Bournemouth, while Yaya Toure, who also started the season well, is 7/4 in the anytime, with Raheem Sterling – on the scoresheet for England in midweek – also the same price.
