Crystal Palace v Manchester United – away win
The Red Devils have beaten Palace in their last four consecutive meetings, so expect that trend to continue at Selhurst Park as Louis van Gaal aims to push his side further up the table.
Manchester City v Norwich City – home win
Manuel Pellegrini’s Sky Blues are dominating domestically at this early stage of the campaign and look to have more than enough firepower to overcome Norwich on home turf this time out.
Newcastle United v Stoke City – away win
Steve McClaren is seeking a revival from his side’s Tyne-Wear derby thrashing by Sunderland, but Stoke City arrive in decent form and could further Newcastle’s domestic misery.
Swansea City v Arsenal – draw
On the back of a stunning Capital One Cup defeat to Sheffield Wednesday, Arsenal will want to bounce back with victory over Swansea, but proceedings could be tighter than expected in Wales.
Watford v West Ham United – away win
West Ham have been truly sublime under Slaven Bilic so far this term and their incredible run of form should continue when they travel to face newly-promoted Watford in their latest outing.
West Bromwich Albion v Leicester City – away win
A big test for Leicester as Tony Pulis’ side will make it hard for them at The Hawthorns, though the Foxes are in form and have the beating of their opponents.
Bristol City v Fulham – away win
The away side are unbeaten in four Championship games and are going well in the league, while their Somerset counterparts are floundering near the bottom.
Ipswich Town v Cardiff City – draw
Two teams who are fairly evenly matched, this could very well be a stalemate, though the Bluebirds could find themselves in a play-off spot if they win.
Reading v Brighton and Hove Albion – draw
While Reading lost last week they will be more than up for this match against the top of the league and could well shut up shot at the back and be happy to settle for a point which would keep them around the play-off spots.
Inter Milan v Roma – draw
The away side have lost just once in the league this season and are top in Serie A, though Roberto Mancini’s side, with one defeat also, will be more than up for this match and could make things difficult.
Hibernian v Rangers – away win
Hibs at home will be a tough test for Rangers on the road, but the Scottish giants have suffered just one defeat this season, and an eight point advantage illustrates superior class.
Everton v Sunderland – draw
The Toffees have not won a game in normal time over their past four outings, and will be up against Sam Allardyce’s bullish Black Cats, who arrive on the back of an emphatic Tyne-Wear derby triumph.
Southampton v Bournemouth – home win
The points from this south coast scuffle should end with the hosts, as the injury-plagued Cherries are struggling, with no victory in their last five frays across all competitions.
Lazio v AC Milan – home win
Lazio have not lost at home to the Rossoneri since 2009, and have been impressive when at the Stadio Olimpico this season, winning all of their matches in the Eternal City.
Tottenham v Aston Villa – home win
Spurs are up and running now, with Harry Kane also back among the goals after thrashing Bournemouth, and the Londoners should just have too much talent for rudderless Villa.
