Quiet Reflection scored in terrific style last time out and looks a worthy favourite to follow-up in the Group 3 Dubai Cornwallis Stakes at Newmarket (13.35).
The Karl Burke trained filly looked an an above average sort on debut at Hamilton when hardly having to break sweat to score by five lengths.
Quiet Reflection travelled strongly throughout on the heels of the leaders before being produced at the furlong marker to saunter clear under a motionless Joey Haynes.
The daughter of Showcasing could not have been any more impressive, and was the far from disgraced next time up when fifth of nine to Besharah in the Grpup 2 Lowther Stakes at York.
Quiet Reflection raced very keenly in the early stages, but held every chance until fading approaching the final furlong and was not knocked about once it was clear she would not be winning.
It was a good run for one so inexperienced, and Quite Reflection improved significantly for it when romping to an easy success in a Listed contest at Ayr when last seen in action.
Quiet Reflection looked far more streetwise, and after showing plenty of pace to chase the leaders took up the running inside the final furlong before storming clear to win by four lengths.
She is clearly an above average juvenile on an upward curve judged by the manner of that success, and Quiet Reflection can take this before going on to even better things.
Field Of Vision finished four lengths behind Quiet Reflection when runner-up at Ayr, and the is no reason why he should reverse the placings.
A bigger danger could by the Ralph Beckett trained Southern Bell who opened her account at the third time of asking at Sandown last month.
The daughter of Aqlaaam showed a nice turn of foot when switched off the rails to score comfortably by 2 3/4 lengths, and it was an effort which suggested there was better to come.
This does represent a big step up in class for Southern Belle, but should Quiet Reflection underperform she could be the one to take advantage.
