SPORTSBOOK ODDS

With the Premier League returning, Coral feature two tantalising matches as Manchester City welcome Newcastle United to the Etihad, while West Ham United make their way to the Northeast for a clash with Dick Advocaat’s Sunderland. Let’s have a look at some of the featured bets…

Man City v Newcastle United
The Magpies have a poor record at the Etihad, which explains their odds of 11/1 to win the match. In the last three Premier League matches in Manchester, City haven’t scored less than four, while conceding zero, which makes them real value at 21/10 to get more than 3.5 goals.

David Silva loves playing against Newcastle, having scored in each of the last three home matches, bagging a brace last season, so anytime odds of 7/4 for the Spaniard to score are definitely worth exploring. Meanwhile, new signing Kevin De Bruyne has had a great start to life at City, scoring in his last three Premier League fixtures, so he cannot be ignored at 6/4 anytime either.

Sergio Aguero has dispatched twice in two seasons in this fixture and is 3/1 to break the deadlock. Meanwhile, if Steve McClaren’s side are to get anything from this clash, they need to be as good as they were last time out, when they held Chelsea to a 2-2 draw at home.

New signing Georginio Wijnaldum was on the scoresheet, as well as Ayoze Perez and the pair are 6/1 and 11/2 respectively to net anytime, while the pace of Papiss Cisse could be effective on the counter-attack, with the Senegalese striker 4/1 to strike during the match.

Sunderland v West Ham United
The Hammers are unbeaten in their last four Premier League matches, so boast great form at the moment, currently occupying third place in the English top flight.

Slaven Bilic’s boys are a slick 7/5 to beat the Black Cats, who are in grave peril this term, rooted to the bottom of the league on just two points.

Diafra Sakho has impressed in recent games, with Enner Valencia still injured, so the Senegal forward is 6/1 to break the deadlock. New signings Dimitri Payet and Victor Moses, meanwhile, have both found the net in recent matches, and are 11/4 and 10/3 to strike anytime.

The hosts haven’t found the net in their last three matches, not since a 2-2 at Villa Park, when Yann M’vila and Jeremain Lens scored. The duo are 8/1 and 10/3 respectively anytime, while Jordi Gomez who scored in the 1-1 here last season, is 4/1 in the same market, with Jermain Defoe available at 7/4 to strike in the match.

Coral’s top tip: Silva anytime scorer @ 7/4 with Coral
