Bookies cut the odds on Caroline Flack getting the sack

SPORTSBOOK ODDS

Caroline Flack has come under pressure for her hosting skills on the X Factor and leading bookmaker Coral has cut her odds to 6-4 from 5-1 to be sacked after just one series, while it’s 50-1 that she is sacked before the live shows begin next weekend.

Olly Murs was also criticized by viewers and is the same price as Flack to be given his marching orders, while it’s 3-1 that both are sacked at the end of the series. Dermot O’Leary is priced at 5-1 to make a return to the show next year.

“Caroline has certainly been getting plenty of flak over her presenting skills this weekend, which has led to a flurry of bets on her getting sacked after one series. She’s a big price to be sacked before the live shows, but it’s not impossible as Simon Cowell already showed how ruthless he can be when he got rid of Cheryl Fernandez-Versini from the US version,” said Coral’s Nicola McGeady.
