The Red Devils ran rampant against this opposition in the reverse, scoring six, so will be expecting a similarly spectacular return in only their fourth ever meeting with the Andorrans, who have never before beaten Belgium.
So, it could be a case of goals galore, with Everton record-signing Lukaku set to benefit from increased service following striking and Merseyside rival Christian Benteke’s injury.
The big, bullish, Belgian may only be 22, but has already hit an impressively ferocious haul of 11 international goals, and is in fine club form to boot.
Seven strikes plus two assists in 10 games across all competitions for the Toffees, including a recent equaliser in the Merseyside derby, means Lukaku should have no problem terrorising Andorra with his strength and nose for goal.
Though the Belgium international does love to poach in pairs, so it could be worth backing Lukaku to bag a brace or better, as he has already dispatched three deadly doubles for Everton this term.
“He has an elite brain and you can see when he puts his mind to it he can achieve anything,” said club coach Roberto Martinez of Lukaku’s brilliance. “I always said Rom has got that unique strength of being the man the team needs.”
Meanwhile, Mandzukic may make up the second part of this delectable double, but he is by no means second-fiddle. The Croatian goal machine his spent his career causing defences havoc across the continent, and will be raring to bag for the Blazers as they battle Bulgaria.
The Juventus striking superstar has proven a game-changer for Croatia many times before, and most memorably made the difference in this qualifying campaign against Italy, with his goal ensuring they grabbed a point.
