Transfer Deadline Day is gradually taking shape, and here at Coral our team of journalists bring you all the latest as we hear it from our in-the-know contacts.

West Ham United have been one of the busiest clubs so far in the Premier League, having brought no less than three players in.

This includes Alex Song and Victor Moses on a season-long loan from Barcelona and Chelsea respectively, plus striker Nikica Jelavic from Hull City on an undisclosed deal, which is thought to be in the region of £3m. It has also been revealed that manager Slaven Bilic held talks with Tottenham striker Emmanuel Adebayor on the eve of Deadline Day, into the small hours, so watch this space!

However, undoubtedly one of the biggest developments here on Transfer Deadline Day, is that David De Gea will be staying at Manchester United, after Real Madrid decide not to appeal to La Liga to push this move through after documents confirming the transfer arrived 28 minutes past their own deadline. Young French attacker Anthony Martial, meanwhile has passed a medical at Old Trafford ahead of his reported initial £36m move to the club.

Elsewhere, Nantes have confirmed that Chelsea have signed their 27-year-old Senegalese centre half, Papy Djilobodji for a fee of just £2.7m, with the player’s contract set to expire at the end of next season. Reading’s 23-year-old Jamaica centre back Michael Hector, is expected to follow in a £4m deal, as Jose Mourinho adds numbers to his defensive ranks.

Dropping down to the Championship, Leeds United have signed 22-year-old winger, Jordan Botaka from Excelsior, with the Congo-born Dutch professional signing a two-year deal at Elland Road.

Everton, meanwhile, who were expected to be a selling club on Deadline Day, have completed the £9.5m signing of centre back Ramiro Funes Mori from River Plate, while other targets are under consideration before the window slams shut.

Joleon Lescott has all but joined Aston Villa in a £1m move from West Bromwich Albion, with the two-time Premier League winner having passed a medical, while the club have reportedly had a bid turned down by Crystal Palace for striker Dwight Gayle.
