On the British transfer deadline day, 13/5 top 10 chances with Coral West Ham United have signed Barcelona midfielder Alex Song and Chelsea’s Victor Moses on loan for the season, while Nikica Jelavic and Michail Antonio have also joined permanently from Hull City and Nottingham Forest respectively.

Former Cameroon star Song enjoyed a decent spell with the Hammers last term, making 28 Premier League appearances, and has linked up with them once more, this time under new boss Slaven Bilic.

For Moses, meanwhile, it will be his third loan spell since joining Chelsea in 2012, after he spent time at Liverpool and Stoke City too. He has also signed a four-year contract extension with the Blues.

Song, still just 27-years-old, Moses, Jelavic and Antonio join the likes of other fellow summer signings Dimitri Payet, Pedro Obiang, Angelo Ogbonna and loanees Carl Jenkinson and Manuel Lanzini at Upton Park.

Michail Antonio, 25, makes the move from Forest for a reported £7m on a four-year deal, with an option for a further two, while Jelavic signs on a two-year contract (option for further two as well) for an undisclosed fee.

Former Everton and Rangers frontman Jelavic, 30, who reunites with his ex-Croatia head coach Bilic, had one-and-a-half seasons with the Tigers, who he scored 13 times in 50 appearances for but was relegated with them from the Premier League last season.

West Ham are fairly light up top, with Andy Carroll and Enner Valencia out injured, meaning just Mauro Zarate and Diafra Sakho have been Bilic’s options so far.

In signing Jelavic, the Croat is certainly a proven Premier League player to plug the problem briefly in attack until the former duo return to fitness having starred for Gers and done a job with the Toffees and Tigers for a number of seasons.

The Hammers have started the top flight campaign in decent fashion, beating both Arsenal and Liverpool away, although lost at home to lesser sides Leicester City and Bournemouth. They are currently in eighth place after four games.
