SPORTSBOOK ODDS

Strictly Come Dancing is yet to hit our screens this season, but bookmaker Coral has already opened bets on which celebrity will be axed first. The odds don’t bode well for presenter Jeremy Vine, who has been chalked up as the 3-1 favourite to be the show’s first casualty. Weather girl Carol Kirkwood is the second favourite to be the first out at 7-2, ahead of Katie Derham at 4-1 and Anit a Rani at 6-1.

Peter Andre remains the hot favourite at 4-1 to win the Glitter Ball trophy at 4-1, while Helen George and Jay McGuiness are the joint-second favourites at 6-1. Irish crooner Daniel O’Donnell has also gone down a storm with some female punters at 14-1.

Meanwhile, Coral make Strictly Come Dancing the odds-on favourite at 1-2 to beat the X Factor ratings next weekend.

“Jeremy Vine is yet to showcase his dancing skills, but the odds aren’t his favour to survive the show very long. He’s not the only one ion danger though with Carol Kirkwood expected to be an early casualty too,” said Coral’s Nicola McGeady.
