Our football experts have put their reputations on the line this week and given their thoughts on the games. Whether you agree with them or not, here they are for guidance:

Arsenal v Stoke – home win

The Potters have become somewhat of a bogey team for Arsene Wenger’s Gunners in previous seasons, but the hosts should possess enough firepower to earn another three points at the Emirates.

Crystal Palace v Man City – away win
City have been in blazing form so far this season and look set to continue that following the international break, where plenty of their key players enjoyed success with their countries.

Norwich v Bournemouth – draw
The visitors have not toppled the Canaries since a meeting in 1959, but both newly-promoted teams have started well in the top-flight and it could be a fairly tight clash at Carrow Road.

Watford v Swansea – away win
Garry Monk’s Swans have begun the campaign superbly, overcoming Manchester United before the break, and will be out to gun down a Watford side without a win so far this term.

West Brom v Southampton – draw
Both the Baggies and Saints have made stuttering starts to the new season but will be searching for a boost in form as the top tier commences, though Tony Pulis’ men could test the travelling side on home turf.

Brighton v Hull – draw
The Seagulls are undefeated in the Championship so far this season and are top of the league. However, with the Tigers just three points behind in second and also going strong, this has all the elements of a draw.

Leeds v Brentford – home win
This is a great chance for the home side, who are also undefeated, to jump into a play-off spot and after two defeats on the spin, the last place Brentford would want to go is Elland Road. Leeds should have enough to muster a victory, with the West Yorkshire side steadily gathering momentum.

Preston v Derby – draw
The away side will be keen to bounce back after their home defeat by Leeds last time out, and did the double over their hosts the last time they played them. Simon Grayson’s outfit are no pushovers though, and this could be a hard fought draw.

Man Utd v Liverpool – home win
With captain Wayne Rooney likely to be on a high after he became England’s all-time record scorer in midweek, he is raring to go for the visit of United’s major rivals. Louis van Gaal’s side did the double over the Reds last season and this may result in a narrow win to the home team.

Atletico Madrid v Barcelona – away win
Luis Enrique’s side did the double over their opponents in La Liga last season and will be looking to maintain their 100 per cent start to the campaign as they chase back-to-back titles. With Lionel Messi, Luis Suarez and Neymar all deployed in attack and on-form, Atleti certainly have reason to worry.

Fulham v Blackburn Rovers – home win
The Cottagers have home advantage and should also benefit from a confidence boost before battling Blackburn, having won two on the bounce across all competitions. Rovers, meanwhile are still searching for a first win of the season and are currently stewing in the drop zone.

Sunderland v Tottenham – away win
With hitman Harry Kane revived after England action Spurs should be going for the jugular at Sunderland, as the Black Cats are yet to keep a clean sheet. The Mackems have also failed to beat Tottenham since 2010, a stretch of 10 games, which bodes well for the visitors.

Leicester City v Aston Villa – home win
The Foxes have been firing on all cylinders under new coach Claudio Ranieri and sit an impressive third in the Premier League. Midlands rivals Villa, in contrast, having been struggling to see games out and could stutter again here.

Inter Milan v AC Milan – draw
Both tussles between these two Milan giants ended evenly last term, and the Derby della Madonnina is usually a tight affair. As the Nerazzurri and Rossoneri continue to gel after extensive summer overhauls, a draw could be on the cards again.

West Ham United v Newcastle United – home win
The Hammers have certainly been among the goals this season, notching six in their last two, so should be potent at home. Newcastle, meanwhile, have lacked incisiveness in front of net, with just two league goals so far in four.
