Crystal Palace v Aston Villa – Draw
The West Midlands side claimed a 1-0 win at Selhurst Park last season, though Alan Pardew’s side looked good despite defeat in their previous outing against Arsenal. This fixture is one that could go either way, with Tim Sherwood’s men proving tough to break down against Manchester United. A draw looks likely here.
Leicester v Tottenham – Home win
Claudio Ranieri’s Foxes have blitzed their way to two terrific wins this term, so have a 100 per cent record so far. Spurs are still struggling to get going this season and, at what will be a rocking King Power Stadium, Leicester should look to press home the advantage.
Norwich v Stoke – Draw
This fixture has a goalscoring draw written all over it. Both teams are hard to break down, though can akso find the target. Likely to be a lively encounter, with both sides possessing pace aplenty, however Stoke haven’t quite gelled with their new recruits yet, so a point apiece looks the best bet.
Sunderland v Swansea – Away win
The Black Cats are in freefall and Garry Monk’s men will look to take advantage after a great start to their season. Reports of star striker Jermain Defoe being linked with a move back to boyhood club Bournemouth won’t have helped morale, and it could be a case of damage limitation as the Swans in-form forwards are set to run riot in Wearside against a dodgy defence.
West Ham v Bournemouth – Draw
Eddiw Howe’s newly promoted Cherries may just get their reward for two matches where they have impressed, though failed to pick up points, by doing just that at Upton Park. The Hammers followed up their impressive win over Arsenal on the opening day with a disappointing 2-1 loss to Leicester last time out, and Bournemouth can snatch a share of the spoils here.
Bolton v Nottingham Forest – Draw
The Trotters are yet to win from their opening three league games this term, while Forest have looked shaky too taking just four points. Back a draw, therefore.
Burnley v Brentford – Draw
Recently relegated Burnley have started the season poorly after drawing twice and losing the other. The Bees, meanwhile, have looked decent, but these two teams could end up sharing the spoils too.
Preston v Ipswich – Away win
Going by recent history, the Tractor Boys don’t enjoy facing Preston, having won just two of their last 15 meetings with them. But Ipswich are looking decent this term so far, so back them to belie that record.
Cardiff v Wolves – Draw
Having drawn their opening three matches, Cardiff could do so again against Wolves, who also shared the spoils against Hull City.
West Brom v Chelsea – Draw
The Baggies have a great record against the Blues at The Hawthorns, having won three of their last four against them. Chelsea have not started the season well either, so another draw could be on the cards here.
Everton v Man City – Away win
Manuel Pellegrini’s men are in such fine form at the moment it is difficult to see the Merseysiders putting up much resistance. City have won three of their last four tussles with the Toffees, and have scored a superb six in two games this term.
Watford v Southampton – Draw
Saints are known for travel sickness, succumbing to 10 league defeats on their travels last campaign, and have suffered a poor start to this season. Plucky Watford, meanwhile, have impressed and could take a point on home turf.
Athletic Bilbao v Barcelona – Draw
The Basque Country club are notoriously tough on home soil, having recently smashed four past Barca in the Spanish Super Cup and drawing the reverse. Bilbao have lost just three of their last eight across all competitions at San Mames against the Catalans.
Fiorentina v AC Milan – Away win
New-look Milan have been splashing the cash this summer, and should have enough firepower in Carlos Bacca and Luiz Adriano to push past Viola, who parted ways with successful coach Vincenzo Montella.
Arsenal v Liverpool – Home win
The Gunners thrashed Liverpool in this fixture last season and have not been beaten by the Reds at home since 2011. Both have weaknesses, though, so expect goals, with Arsenal to edge it at the Emirates.
