Leicester looking to continue smashing start to season against Spurs

The 2015/16 Premier League season enters its third matchweek, and already we have witnessed some shock results and controversy.
Coral football writers preview two tasty Saturday 3pm kick-off fixtures which sees Crystal Palace’s Alan Pardew putting his wits against Aston Villa and Tim Sherwood, while early high-flyers Leicester City take on Tottenham.
Crystal Palace v Aston Villa
Neither the Eagles nor Villans were able to follow up their opening day victories on the road to respective Premier League new boys Norwich City and Bournemouth, as they were downed at home by Arsenal and Manchester United.
However, they now meet at Selhurst Park, a ground in which the duo have drawn 0-0 a number of times with each other over the years. So a goalless outcome, which was also the result at Villa Park last term, once more is priced at a tempting 17/2.
Jason Puncheon, though, grabbed the sole goal of the game in London in 2013/14 against Villa, and the winger is a tempting 10/3 shout to net again anytime. While, for the visitors, new boys Rudy Gestede and Jordan Ayew can both be backed at 2/1 in the same market.
Palace are the 20/23 odds-on favourites for victory in this match, given their terrific finish last term in the table, but Sherwood’s men are 7/2 chances to cause a slight upset.
Leicester v Tottenham
This is most definitely the match of afternoon in England’s top-flight, as these two teams tend to produce thrillers when they go head-to-head.
The last 10 meetings in all competitions between Leicester (7/4 for victory) and Spurs (17/10) have produced three goals or more, with four of them being five or over. You can take terrific odds of 2/1 for there to be more than 3.5 strikes again.
There have also been many 2-1 results in this fixture over the years, having occurred in five of the past eight meetings. Odds of 17/2 are available for either side to win by that scoreline once more.
For goals, Spurs star Harry Kane got four against the Foxes last term, including a hat-trick at White Hart Lane, and he is 5/1 for two or more again. Jamie Vardy was on target for Leicester, who have won both their matches this season so far, and is 7/4 to follow up his opening day strike against Sunderland.
