Ennis-Hill favourite to be Sports Personality of the Year

| 23.08.2015

Jessica Ennis-Hill is the new 3-1 favourite with leading bookmaker Coral to win the BBC Sports Personality of the Year award for 2015, after she was cut from 14-1 following her heptathlon gold medal at the World Athletics Championship.

Tour de France winner Chris Froome is now second best in the betting at 10-3, Lewis Hamilton Hamilton can be backed at 9-2 and Tony McCoy is available at 6-1.

“To win gold in her first major tournament since London 2012 and so shortly after giving birth, it is an incredible achievement. We’ve reacted by making her the new favourite to win the BBC Sports Personality of the Year award where she sits ahead of Chris Froome and Lewis Hamilton in the market,” said Coral’s John Hill.
