Coral’s Rumour Reel: Cherries chasing former Swansea midfielder?

Having been narrowly defeated 1-0 in their first ever Premier League encounter by Aston Villa, Bournemouth are seeking reinforcements to help keep them in the top-light this season, and are 11/2 with Coral to eventually finish bottom.

Eddie Howe is hoping to land former Swansea City midfielder Jonathan de Guzman, who is now with Serie A side Napoli, with the Cherries having reportedly launched a £5.5m bid for the Ducthman’s signature this summer.

Bournemouth’s potential relegation rivals later this term Sunderland are again in talks with out-of-favour Liverpool frontman Fabio Borini, despite the Italian having turned down a switch to the Stadium of Light last year.
