Champions League play-offs: Lazio and Sporting Lisbon hold leads

Coral have some superb odds available for these midweek Champions League play-off second leg clashes.

Lazio and Sporting Lisbon both lead their ties, but must navigate tricky away returns against Bayer Leverkusen and CSKA Moscow respectively. Can they both stay in pole position to reach the group stage?

Lazio were in the luxurious position of being able to rest and rotate players against Bologna at the weekend, which could work in their favour, with the Roman club 5/1 to win in 90 minutes.

Recent Ajax acquisition Ricardo Kishna (7/2 in the anytime market) bagged a goal on his Serie A bow, but Felipe Anderson (9/1 to net first) and Antonio Candreva (10/1 to be on target last) should still be the first-choice flank threats.

Leverkusen also shook things up a little last time out, but Son Heung-Min and Karim Bellarabi should return to the starting XI to support forwards Stefan Kiessling (4/1 to fire home first) and Hakan Calhanoglu (6/5 to score anytime).

The German giants will have to be quick out of the blocks, however, with a 14/1 price for both teams to notch in both halves.

Though Leverkusen are odds-on 8/13 for victory, it is tough to see Lazio, in search of a crucial away goal, failing to respond to any threat.

A vital strike in Lisbon from Roma-owned dangerman Seydou Doumbia (5/1 to grab the opener) gives them a fighting a chance, while fellow forward Ahmed Musa (9/5 in the anytime market) and Alan Dzagoev (14/5) have both been among the goals lately.

Portuguese giants Sporting need only a draw at 5/2 to progress, meanwhile, so this could be a cagey affair.

The Lions now have Italian orchestrator Alberto Aquilani pulling the strings for forwards Teofilo Gutierrez, 5/2 to prove a menace anytime, and Islam Slimani, who is 9/4 in the same market.

As the poaching pair both bagged in the reverse, their confidence should give Sporting, 12/5 to win in 90 mins, the edge.

Betting tip: Stick by Colombian goal hero Gutierrez @ 5/2 to strike again anytime.
