With the new Premier League season up and running, Coral’s ever-popular goal-scorer doubles are also back, as we feature prolific pair Alexis Sanchez and Sergio Aguero at 11/2 anytime!
Ahead of Arsenal’s match against Crystal Palace, manager Arsene Wenger said of star player Sanchez, who is 5/4 to score anytime in the normal match market: “Alex without running around is not Alex, you know. You can’t imagine him lying on the beach somewhere and not moving.
“He came back in good fitness shape so that is quite positive, but I am not surprised by that because I can’t imagine him lying around for four weeks and doing nothing. That wouldn’t be him.”
Sanchez ended his first season in the Premier League in fine form, finishing on 25 goals across all competitions after 52 appearances, including a wonder strike in the club’s FA Cup final victory over Aston Villa. The livewire was also a crucial part of Chile’s Copa America win in the summer.
Last season’s Premier League Golden Boot winner Aguero, meanwhile, will be looking to carry on his outstanding form this weekend and increase his goal record of three against Chelsea. In the normal match market, he is a short 6/5 to net anytime, which makes this bet all the more appealing.
Going into the new season and the battle with the Stamford Bridge side, Aguero sounded confident and the fact that he is aware of the Blues and how they will conduct themselves should give fans plenty assurance.
“One thing you can say about the Premier League is that every year, it gets better,” the striker said. “Once again, many teams have made very important additions and that means there’s no single rival for us this season.
“It’d be very naive to think that Chelsea will be the only team competing for the top position – there will be many of us and each one will challenge in their own style,” continued Aguero. “We’ll stay hungry for glory, we’ll do our jobs, we’ll win all we possibly can and see where that takes us.”
