With the Champions League second qualifying round second leg, a number of teams battle it out to reach the penultimate stage before the tournament proper. Coral take a look at certain games on Tuesday, July 21st.

One club in particular have already made history becoming the first Gibraltarian team to win a match at any stage in this competition, and have a great chance of now making it to the third qualifying round.

Lincoln Red Imps, winners of their domestic league for the last 13 years, may not be fancied by Coral to upset Danish Superliga champions FC Midtjylland, but are temptingly priced at 16/1 to win in 90 minutes at their Victoria Stadium.

That is all the more enticing given that they lost only 1-0 in the first leg, and now face them on home territory, which happens to be an astroturf surface that they are used to.

Lincoln have already beaten Andorran team FC Santa Coloma 2-1 on aggregate to get to this stage, and are 40/1 shouts to triumph 1-0 and thus bring the tie into extra time.

The Gibraltarians have on their books a number of current internationals too, with the likes of national captain Roy Chipolina, Joseph Chipolina, Casciaro brothers (Ryan, Lee, who scored against Scotland, and Kyle) and former English-based players Anthony Bardon and Liam Walker to chose from.

Ex-Portsmouth midfielder Walker is his club and country’s star, having once nearly caught out Germany keeper Manuel Neuer in a Euro 2016 qualifier with a fabulous strike. He will no doubt be pulling the strings here too for any chance his side will get.

Midtjylland, heavy 1/7 favourites to win, are not without their internationals, though, with the likes of former Monaco midfielder Jakob Poulsen (Denmark) and ex-Southampton youth player Tim Sparv (Finland) among many.

Elsewhere in the Champions League second qualifying round, Northern Irish outfit Crusaders are up against it in their match with Albania’s Skenderbeu Korce (even-money match favourites), after losing 4-1 in the first leg.

They claimed a crucial goal through Jordan Owens, however, and are tempting 12/5 shouts for victory, and 45/1 to do so 3-0, which would be enough to send them through.

Other fixtures on Tuesday include established European names Malmo (8/11 to win in 90 minutes), Molde (4/5), Ludogorets Razgrad (8/13), APOEL Nicosia (5/6) and Partizan Belgrade (8/11), who are all odds-on favourites in their respective battles.

The winner of Lincoln Red Imps’ clash with FC Midtjylland will face one of APOEL and FK Vardar Skopje.
