West Ham United have already enjoyed a successful summer of new acquisitions so far, but new boss Slaven Bilic is hoping to add Atletico Madrid forward Raul Jimenez to his growing list of recruits.

Bilic wants to land another striker to his already rejuvenated Hammers squad before the transfer window slams shut, and Jimenez on loan would represent a huge coup, having emerged as the latest attacker to be on their radar.

The London outfit are 2/1 with Coral to secure a top 10 finish this upcoming campaign and know that they will need a new proven marksman in order to achieve such a feat ahead of their top-flight rivals.

Mexico international hitman Jimenez is regarded as one of the brightest young talents to come out of his country, since arriving in Spain from Club America last summer.

Although, the 24-year-old could be on course to arrive at Upton Park temporarily, having made only one start in La Liga last term, with most of his appearances coming off the bench as he struck just a single goal.

Jimenez’s stuttering club career had no bearing on his international one, though, having featured at this summer’s Copa America campaign under former coach Miguel Herrera, netting twice in their failed attempt to be crowned champions.

Britain Soccer Europa League

The summer arrivals of rampant duo Jackson Martinez and Luciano Vietto have cast doubts over the Mexican’s future at the Vicente Calderon, as the recent Atleti acquisitions push him further down the pecking order.

Although, Hammers boss Bilic is reportedly aiming to land the seemingly out-of-favour forward on a season-long loan deal, and the La Liga attacker could be open to such a switch to London, as he searches for regular first-team action.

The Hammers will hope they can conclude a loan deal for their attacking target as soon as possible as Bilic aims to enjoy a successful debut Premier League term in charge, with his side 9/2 to somehow face a daunting relegation.
