Five in at White Hart Lane as Spurs plan summer clearout

It could be a transitional summer at Spurs once again, as the club plan to offload a number of players from their books.
Tottenham, 5/1 with Coral to finish in the Premier League top four next term, reportedly want to sell Aaron Lennon, Paulinho, Younes Kaboul, Etienne Capoue and Benjamin Stambouli, while Lewis Holtby, Roberto Soldado and Emmanuel Adebayor are also set to move on.
We take a look at five possible replacements for the outgoing players with defensive duo Keiran Trippier and Kevin Wimmer already signed.
Milan Badelj
The Croatian midfielder has been likened to compatriot Luka Modric and occupies the same position. The 26-year-old currently plies his trade at Fiorentina and has Europa League experience. Likely to cost in the region of £10m, he would be a considerable upgrade on their current options in that position.
Charlie Austin
Harry Kane needs support and who better than England colleague Austin, who notched 18 Premier League goals for a struggling QPR side last season? Arguably one of the most sought after strikers in the country at the minute, no less than three other clubs are said to be seeking his signature.
His club want at least £15m; however, Newcastle, Crystal Palace and Southampton are only willing to pay £10m. Shrewd chairman Daniel Levy can be confident of landing Austin for around £13m or may even broker a deal for three million less and throw a player in as part of the deal, with England Under-21 international Tom Carroll having previously spent time on loan at Loftus Road.
Toby Alderweireld
It has been reported that Spurs have moved ahead in the race to sign the talented Belgian centre back, who spent last term on loan at Southampton. Atletico Madrid are looking to sell and if they are serious, Spurs should come in strong with a firm offer in the region of £12m with a deadline to accept.
Should he move, the 26-year-old would form a strong partnership with compatriot Jan Vertonghen in defence and there is no doubt that Alderweireld would be a significant upgrade on Kaboul, who is likely to depart.
Nathan Redmond
A promising young player, who was a vital component in Norwich City’s promotion to the Premier League last term, lighting up the play-off final. Should Lennon leave, there will be a vacancy on the wing and 21-year-old Redmond would fit the bill.
The only question would be how much the Canaries are willing to sell for and what value Spurs put on him at this stage of his career. He would also add to an ambitious and talented English contingent at White Hart Lane.
Javier Hernandez
Should Spurs reignite their interest, the Mexican forward would be a superb addition. It is unclear what the situation is between the player and his club Manchester United, who let him join Real Madrid on loan last season. There is no doubt that Chicharito would significantly improve Tottenham and add variety to their attacking options. Any fee would likely be in the region of £15m.
