Denmark (23/20 favourites to triumph with Coral) continue to jostle Portugal for top spot in Euro 2016 qualifying Group I, and must beat visiting Serbia to keep up the chase, as they currently sit two points off the leaders.

The Eagles, meanwhile, really need a result in Copenhagen, if their slim hopes of snatching third place are not to be dashed. With just one point after being controversially deducted three following incidents in their game against rivals Armenia, Serbia are 5/2 to turn their poor campaign around with a win.

For the Danes the main dangerman continues to be, somewhat surprisingly, ex-Arsenal striker Nicklas Bendtner, a recent DFB Pokal winner with Wolfsburg, who has netted 29 in 67 caps.

Having recently hit a hat-trick against the USA and also bagged a brace as Olsen’s Eleven emphatically beat Serbia 3-1 in the reverse, back unlikely hero Bendtner at 5/4 in the anytime market, or 5/1 to open the scoring.

Denmark coach Morten Olson will also be relying on Tottenham playmaker Christina Eriksen, who has proven a goal hero for Spurs and struck against Montenegro last time out and is a great shout at 2/1 in the anytime market, while centre back Simon Kjaer (20/1) has also proven to be a set-piece threat.

The Danes also have plenty of talent to pick from in net, with Leicester City’s Kasper Schmeichel likely to retain his number one spot, and 29/20 to keep a clean sheet.

Meanwhile, Serbia have a wealth of big names stars, including Chelsea pair Branislav Ivanovic and Nemanja Matic plus flying Manchester City full back Aleksandar Kolarov, who should be at least able to squeeze out a draw at 11/5, however, the Eagles have struggled recently, losing two of their last four.

Still dangerous on their day, Anderlecht attacker Aleksandar Mitrovic, who grabbed 27 goals across all competitions this term, is 7/1 to score first, while attacking midfielders including Liverpool wideman Lazar Markovic (11/4 to net anytime) and Roma’s rampant Adem Ljajic (7/2) should provide plenty of support.

Betting tipEriksen scores anytime @ 2/1
