Wilfried Bony return beckons as Swansea host Man City

Manchester City frontman Wilfried Bony will return to the Liberty Stadium for the first time since his winter window switch, as the Sky Blues battle his former club Swansea City, who are priced at 4/1 to win on home soil with Coral.
As it stands, the Ivory Coast attacker is still the Swans’ top scorer for this season, having hit nine Premier League goals before seeking pastures new. Don’t be mistaken, however, as Garry Monk’s men have certainly moved on.

The high-flying Welsh side now sit eighth in the standings, just one point behind Southampton and two behind Tottenham, as they make a late push for a Europa League place, following a string of impressive results.
After three triumphs on the trot and, having scalped Arsenal at the Emirates last time out and also done the double over Manchester United this season, City should hold little fear for high-flying Swansea.
Monk’s team have not struggled for goals since Bony bid adieu back in January, and are a remarkably well balanced side, having scored 44 times in the league and conceded the same amount.
Surprisingly, it is South Korea skipper Ki Sung-Yueng who has stepped up to become Swansea’s second top scorer with eight. The playmaker is 6/1 to be on target anytime, while fellow midfield threat Gylfi Sigurdsson is a fantastic 5/1 in the same market.

It was French forward Bafetimbi Gomis (8/1 to net the opener) who grabbed the winner against Arsenal and, despite initially struggling to fill prolific Bony’s shoes, the striker is now credibly staking his claim to the spot.
City do hold the upper hand in head-to-head records, however, with 17 wins to seven across all competitions, and have lost just once to the Swans in their last six meetings.
With the stats firmly in their favour, Man City are odds-on at 4/6 for victory, or 3/1 to draw, given their tremendous recent run of four wins on the bounce with 12 goals scored.
So, back the Sky Blues at 21/10 to net three or more, with returning hero Bony (who was actually the last Swansea star to breach City’s backline), a superb punt at 4/1 to break Liberty Stadium hearts by striking last.
The Citizens’ leading sharpshooter Sergio Aguero is also an exciting 3/1 chance to bag a brace or better after his hat-trick heroics last time out against QPR, and has notched an excellent eight in his past five outings.

Four of those Aguero goals were openers, so odds of 3/1 for the Argentine to fire home first again are also fantastic value, and our top tip for this tasty tussle.
