Seven club picks for Pogba after compatriot Matuidi’s PSG call

Coral have a selection of incredible value odds up for grabs on seven top clubs’ chances of poaching midfield prodigy Paul Pogba from Serie A giants Juventus this summer, with Europe’s elite set to scramble for his signature.
The formidable France international has long been linked with leaving Italy, and powerful PSG star Blaise Matuidi has now chipped in with his two pennies’ worth on Pogba’s future, adding fuel to the fire.
Speaking to French TV, Les Bleus engine room marshal Matuidi told French media: “If Paul Pogba was ready to come, I’d be very happy. If I have a piece of advice to give him, it’s to come to Paris.”
With that in mind, we contemplate where the superstar-in-waiting may hang his boots next campaign…
Barcelona
Barca may seem an unlikely destination for dynamic and direct Pogba, yet the Catalan’s are making slight changes to their established style and could add a different dimension to their play by acquiring the dynamo.
The Spanish giants’ sporting director Ariedo Braida has already highlighted his interest, telling press: “We like Pogba, we like him a lot. But that’s needless to say. All the big clubs like a champion such as Pogba.” So, superb odds of 5/1 for the Catalan kings to claim Pogba as their prize reflects their admiration.
Bayern Munich
Somewhat of an overhaul is expected at the Allianz Arena this summer, and the Bavarian big-guns may dip into the market to add a new recruit to their roster of ageing midfielders. Capturing excellent all-rounder Pogba could be the coup that catapults them back to the fore of European football, and they are 10/1 outsiders to do so.

Chelsea
Powerful Pogba (11/5 to win the Champions League with Juve) is capable of important contributions at both ends of the pitch, making him an ideal player for Jose Mourinho to mould. Expect the Blues, 7/1 to make the winning bid, to be in the mix if Pogba goes up for auction.
PSG
Ferocious Pogba, born in a suburb of Paris, is 10/3 to take international teammate Matuidi’s advice to heart and head back to his home country.
The Les Bleus talent could form what would be a truly tasty partnership with his fellow Frenchman at the heart of the Parisians’ midfield, as the Ligue 1 giants look to make strides in Europe.

Manchester City
City have supposedly offered an array of players in part-exchange for Pogba, in an attempt to jump to the front of the queue. Should the Old Lady wish to snaffle the Citizens’ stars, the blue half of Manchester are 7/4 favourites to lure Pogba back to the northwest.
Rubbing city rivals Man Utd up the wrong way by snapping up their former starlet would certainly appeal, with Pogba projected as a possible Yaya Toure replacement.
Manchester United
To avoid anymore blushes after letting Pogba exit Old Trafford on a free, the Red Devils are a tempting 10/1 to return their academy product to the Theatre of Dreams. United apparently have a world class midfielder on their shopping list, and few have more potential than Pogba.

Real Madrid
As Madrid’s undoing against Juve proved, Los Blancos need a midfielder who can grab a game by the scruff of the neck. Pogba would fit the bill, with France legend Zinedine Zidane likely proving a pull for the young-gun, who can join compatriot Raphael Varane in the Real ranks.
As Jose Mourinho and Inter Milan can attest, the Spanish capital club, 5/1 to land the graceful and strong Gallic star, like to raid the rosters of those who defeat them.
