Premier League final day: Arsenal can clinch third with Baggies draw

Three penalties have been awarded in the last four Premier League meetings between Arsenal and West Bromwich Albion, and there is incentive aplenty for this final day fixture to be competitive.

When in charge of Stoke City, Baggies boss Tony Pulis got plenty of joy against the Gunners, yet is a massive 13/2 outsider with Coral to mastermind victory at the Emirates. Considering Albion beat champions Chelsea last time out, recording back-to-back wins might be worth a punt.

Pulis may be able to finish above another of his former clubs, Crystal Palace, should West Brom stun Arsenal, but a draw (7/2, and the result in two of the last four head-to-heads) will not enough to bring the Baggies above Alan Pardew’s men.

A point is all Arsene Wenger needs to confirm a top three finish, and ensure the Gunners avoid the Champions League play-offs by going straight into next season’s group stage.

Holding an odds-on favourites price of 4/9 to win, punters can enhance that by taking a boosted price matchday special on an Arsenal victory with both teams finding the target at 9/4. Please note, there is a maximum stake of £20 on this bet.

Gunners forward Danny Welbeck has a knee injury, while this game comes too early for long-term injury absentees Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain and Mathieu Debuchy.

England duo Jack Wilshere (10/3 in the anytime market) and Theo Walcott (4/1 to score last) will be targeting game time here, after being named on Roy Hodgson’s roster for end of season games against the Republic of Ireland and Slovenia.

Soccer - Saido Berahino Filer

Burundi-born Young Lion Saido Berahino has a different summer mission, going to the Under-21 European Championship, and his brace against Chelsea last time out underlined his quality. He holds anytime odds of 11/4, having scored against this opposition before.

Baggies captain Chris Brunt is also in that category, and a 6/1 shot to net again here after rounding off the win on Monday.

Albion should not underestimated after beating the Blues and Manchester United in recent outings, but an Arsenal outfit with greater strength in depth should send them back to The Hawthorns with nothing.

Coral betting tip: Our nifty 9/4 matchday special for a Gunners win and both teams scoring looks top notch value.
